@pensive_lauren i’ve thought abt it and i feel like this partially was a decision ina made bcs a majority of readers were very negative abt serena having a lover before getting with the ml. that way the ‘cheating’ was less ‘immoral’ or detrimental to her character and their eventual relationship

As much as I love Serena overall (mostly only for her), I still to this day despise the virginity trope they introduced. It seemed forced given her history with Fred & reinforced the inexperienced fl & experienced ml trope which I hate. Will always be my one big complain with it.

Honestly im a bit pissed at the choice of how shes the only evil ex between the two. The male ex is not evil, and he even felt like a second ml. It feels unfair that the author make the other female chara evil while the other male is.. kind

my unpopular selfish romance opinion is that sojeong is actually really important. she’s an evil, cunning, scheming, selfish woman, and that’s exactly what makes her captivating. the plot simply wouldn’t be as interesting without her presence
