media literacy and critical thinking are genuinely declining kasi ang daming viewers na gusto spoon fed lahat ng moral conclusions instead of engaging with the narrative, context, symbolism, character psychology and consequences. people forget that art is not supposed to function as a sanitized guidebook for morality. films are reflections of people, society, power dynamics, trauma, desire, corruption, and human contradiction. reality itself is not morally clean.
basta there’s a huge difference between a film thoughtfully exploring immoral behavior and a film irresponsibly romanticizing it. nuance matters. execution matters. context matters.
