It’s wild that we need to explain to a successful career novelist, that supposedly came up with complex story arcs for a living, how a nation could use terrorist proxies to wage “non attributable” warfare against a large portion of the world for about 47 years… How can someone so “smart” be such a moron?

Just for the attention of those that are immune to the strain, there are several alternative political parties out there void of the insanity/delusion of these ideologues. How they elevated themselves to the position of the only opposition party in the country beats my imagination. Don’t swallow their poison. They were rejected for a reason from the various parties they have ruined. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Lest we forget he was trading slaves, we didn’t like it, and forced him to stop. Wonder if reparations nuts will go after her for money, seeing as her quite wealthy family actually profited from slavery?

My great, great maternal grandfather was the Oba (king) of Lagos in 1861 and was forced -under threat of military bombardment - aka to avoid a massacre of the people - to cede Lagos over to the British. Lest we forget.

Those who delight in corrupting what others have painstakingly built, strategically nurtured through vision, discipline, and unrelenting labor, often posture as rightful owners of the very platforms they never created. They lay claim to the momentum until the moment arrives when something genuinely new must be forged. It is then that their fraudulence stands fully exposed. They cannot perfect even the simplest coalition, nor galvanize the common ground required for any truly impactful protest. Their impotence is now glaring: these lame ducks are incapable of building anything of substance on their own. Their only talent lies in hijacking the fruits of another’s toil. Yet this same motley crew harbors a morbid obsession with seizing the reins of national power, a fevered dream that will never, and must never, come to fruition. 😇

🚨 BOOM: Footage is resurfacing of Democrat Chuck Schumer SLAMMING Hussein Obama's Iran nuclear deal, which President Trump got us out of "If Iran is going to CHEAT, it won't be at a declared site with the world watching!" Internet IS FOREVER, CHUCK!
MAZE@mazemoore

2015. Chuck Schumer explains why he is not supporting Obama's Iran nuclear deal. Schumer detailed how the deal would not only fail to stop Iran's nuclear ambitions, it would in many ways advance Iran's nuclear program. It's worth noting that as soon as Trump announced in 2018 that he was withdrawing from the deal, Schumer switched his position and began claiming that Obama's deal had been a success.

Its 2008. Mugabe has lost an election. They spend weeks try to find creative ways of rigging but it doesnt work, so they admit defeat, but they claim the opposition didnt cross the necessary 50% required to form a government so a run off is needed. Death squads are deployed...

Mugabe was a giant. There's no other African politician, you would watch and enjoy listening to than Robert. Zimbabwe remains luckiest to have had such a president.

According to Tucker Carlson, the only reason Americans have ever heard of Hezbollah, and why the militia didn’t remain just a regional problem, is because they are enemies of Israel. I thought Americans knew Hezbollah because of the 241 U.S. service members it killed in the 1983 Beirut barracks bombing.

Loyalty beyond politics: The uncommon steel of Wike Nyesom Wike (The Nation, April 8, 2026) By Tola Osunnuga In an era where political allegiance often bends with the wind of convenience, few figures in Nigeria’s public space embody the rare virtue of steadfast loyalty as unmistakably as Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory. Beyond the noise of partisan divides and shifting alliances, Wike has etched his name into the evolving narrative of governance under President Bola Tinubu as a man whose commitment transcends political expediency. Loyalty in public service is frequently preached but seldom practiced with conviction. It is often diluted into mere rhetoric—an ornamental phrase deployed for optics. Yet, Wike has demonstrated that loyalty, when genuine, is not passive agreement but active, visible support. Like a seasoned captain who steadies the ship not only in calm waters but amid turbulent storms, Wike has stood firmly behind President Tinubu—both in the quiet corridors of power and in the full glare of the public eye. His actions evoke the image of a cornerstone in a grand architectural edifice: unseen by many, yet essential to the structure’s stability. In private, he is said to offer candid counsel; in public, he projects unwavering support. This duality—honest critique within, resolute defence without—is the hallmark of principled loyalty, not blind allegiance. It is the kind of loyalty that strengthens leadership rather than diminish it. Wike’s political sagacity did not emerge overnight. It is the product of years navigating the intricate terrain of Nigerian local politics, where survival demands both intellect and instinct. His tenure in Rivers State politics showcased a man deeply attuned to grassroots dynamics, capable of reading the pulse of the people while outmanoeuvring rivals with strategic precision. He is, in every sense, a political craftsman—one who understands that power is not merely acquired but sustained through calculation, courage, and connection. This dexterity is now evident in his role at the federal level. As Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Wike has approached governance with a blend of pragmatism and urgency. His administrative style reflects a man who does not merely occupy office but inhabits it fully—making decisions, driving projects, and leaving visible imprints. In doing so, he reinforces the credibility of the Tinubu administration, not through words alone, but through tangible action. When juxtaposed with the broader expectations of seasoned politicians and opinion moulders, Wike’s conduct stands out sharply. Too often, political elites oscillate between opportunism and silence—quick to claim credit, yet reluctant to bear responsibility. Many position themselves as neutral arbiters, avoiding firm commitments in order to preserve personal relevance. Wike, however, defies this pattern. He has chosen clarity over ambiguity, commitment over convenience. Such a stance is not without risk. In a political culture where dissent is sometimes cloaked as independence and loyalty mistaken for subservience, Wike’s open alignment with President Tinubu could easily be misconstrued. Yet, it is precisely this willingness to stand visibly and unapologetically in support of a cause he believes in that distinguishes him. It reflects not weakness, but conviction. Honesty in politics is often likened to a flickering candle in a storm—fragile and easily extinguished. But in Wike’s case, it resembles something far more enduring: a lighthouse beam cutting through fog, unwavering and directional. His commitment does not waver with shifting tides; rather, it provides orientation in uncertain times. Nigeria’s political landscape is in constant flux, demanding leaders who are not only intelligent but anchored—men and women whose principles do not evaporate under pressure.

Many of you still don’t get it — or refuse to admit it. Trump didn’t just “come back.” He survived a coordinated deep-state war, two bogus impeachments, a stolen election, lawfare, assassination attempts, and a corrupt corporate media that lied about him every single day. He got up off the mat, ran again, and crushed it anyway. Faults and all, he’s the most consequential president of the modern era. He yanked this country back from the edge of collapse that Biden and Kamala were racing toward And too many people are still sitting there, smug and ungrateful, acting like it was no big deal.

One more point on this. For years the Iranian regime (and their defenders in Washington) has denied being connected to Hezbollah. By Iran demanding a ceasefire in Lebanon - to protect their terror asset Hezbollah - they once again prove they’ve been waging war in Lebanon all along
Rapid Response 47@RapidResponse47

.@VP: "The Iranians thought that the ceasefire included Lebanon and it just didn't. We never made that promise. We never indicated that was going to be the case."

50 years ago, the bombs that fell on Beirut were Palestinian bombs, followed by Syrian bombs, followed by Iranian bombs, and all of them threw bombs from Lebanon onto Israel, inviting Israeli bombs into the fiasco. You probably needed someone to explain this to you since you were too little to remember.
Peter Daou@peterdaou

It is political season - even insects will deem themselves eagles... Our journalists must help us all when doubtful characters such as this launch spurious and clearly unfounded claims, by always insisting they present the proof or retract, denounce and incinerate their baseless allegations. That way our airwaves will be sanitized and only those whose words carry weight should be granted the privilege of our collective ear. This particular Nwosu was a man who wore the chairmanship of his own party like an inheritance, sixteen unbroken years of self-appointment, defying every convention known to organized politics. His seat was contentious, and he knew it. The title he clutched was borrowed, and the house knew that too. Then came the stranded ones - disgruntled, directionless, desperate men sniffing for shelter in whatever shed still had a roof. And what does a shrewd peddler do when the desperate arrive at his stall? Nwosu moved swiftly to sell them the idea of leadership. A badly packaged platform, poorly refurbished, dressed in fresh paint over crumbling walls. And the undiscerning eyes, blinded by their own desperation, bought it whole. For if you do not carve a sliver of a madman's flesh for your alchemy, what sane man will ever volunteer his own? Seeing that the counterfeit commodity is now being unraveled, sharp man wants to distract and divert attention.. "I was offered Ministerial slot?" 😆 You cannot spend sixteen years clinging to a chair that was never truly yours, sell hollow promises to political refugees, watch the fraud unravel in our very before - and then expect us to be distracted by a ministerial rumour conjured from the thin air of self-importance.
El Niño@Adekbolaji

🗣️: You said you were offered money and ministerial slots, who exactly offered you? Ralph Nwosu:

I applaud President @RodrigoChavesR and the Costa Rican government for their principled leadership in declaring the IRGC, Hezbollah, Hamas, and Ansar Allah (Houthis) as terrorist organizations. This decisive action strengthens the international coalition against Iranian-backed terror and is a vital contribution to security across the Middle East and the Western Hemisphere.

Youth, drunk on ignorance, hubris, and insolence, rarely survives for long. I still remember the scene in The Peaky Blinders: Immortal Man where Tommy Shelby, searching for his son, stepped into his own pub only to be confronted by a cocky young stranger, bloated with alcohol and unearned confidence. The lad, convinced that whatever he didn’t know couldn’t possibly matter, bellowed with reckless bravado: “Who the fuck is Tommy Shelby?!” Those who knew better remained silent, watching… waiting for the inevitable lesson. Tommy calmly stepped close, slipped an active hand grenade into the young man’s coat, and let the pin drop. Panic seized the fool. He bolted outside to hurl the grenade away, then, in his terror, sprinted straight back into the pub, only to be met by Tommy’s bullet. The moment was brutal, poetic, and mercilessly clear. When ignorant, selectively amnesiac, or chronically insolent souls, lost in delusion, ego, or madness, dare to disrespect those who have paid their dues in blood, silence, and scars… they often sign their own death warrant. Even if the outlier does nothing at all, such reckless arrogance carries within it the seeds of its own swift destruction. 🪴
