hi, i'm lauren! still new-ish to x, so here's a proper intro.
i've spent the last two years in venture capital across three different funds; writing memos, running due diligence, and figuring out what actually separates the companies that make it from the ones that don't.
now, i run The Shortlist. it’s where founders get an honest, unfiltered read on their pitch before a VC ever sees it.
i also started a women's health company a few years back, which is how I learned how brutal building CPG really is.
on here, i post a lot about:
•how I broke into VC during my freshman year of college
•the non-obvious things VCs look at first
•active opportunities for founders currently fundraising
few things abt me:
•competitive gymnast for 10 years (learned how to crash in front of crowds and get right back up)
•still play piano when i need to think clearly; 10 years of playing with zero goals attached
