@ibuildthings Currently it runs natively on Linux :). Regarding MacOS, not sure how much of a hassle MoltenVK is (coming from Vulkan). I agree the zoom feature is cool! Thanks for your word!

@aavaa44 LOVE IT, please make sure it runs on MacOS and keep the zoom. Supreme Commander is still the best because of that zoom and sheer scale. C&C suffered when they switched to a close-in view.

@aavaa44 You should try adding some smoothing to the transition between the run and idle animations. Right now, the animation snaps between states too much. Once that’s fixed, it’ll be perfect!

Fought with Blender and Mixamo to mix several animations in one glb asset (here: idle + run). Got character movements down for a smaller game. I'll reuse this mixamo knowledge for infantry in the RTS game. #gamedev #indiegames #indiegamedev

The cool thing about the sobel filter outline is that it hides terrain culling somewhat. #gamedev #indiegame #gaming

@Rawlala1 During the directional light contribution, in the original image I limit the light contribution to 4 values (4 bands). If I increase to 8 bands, I think it looks better already. Below is 8 vs 4.

@Rawlala1 These shadows are a result of my hackish attempt at cel shading 😆. Ideally I should fine tune things, but who got time for that. Here are the original, unedited shadows. Do you like them better?
