#glutenfree food in Italy is also sold in pharmacies. Here they recognize that for #celiac it is the equivalent of a prescription and government subsidies offset the increased cost. We are so behind in the US!!

I recently spoke with someone with #celiacdisease who wasn’t getting better on the #glutenfree diet. While talking, they realized they had accidentally been eating gluten! So, heads up, some hidden sources of gluten include soy sauce, soup mixes, gravy mixes and meat substitutes.

A @BeyondCeliac survey revealed 9.5% of our community have no #celiacdisease symptoms. While it can be nice not to have symptoms, it also means you don’t know if or when you eat gluten. Annual blood tests are especially important for these folks! beyondceliac.org/celiac-news/20…
