@abeari_ It's surprising how much emotional attachment can happen to inanimate objects. But when they become the physical representation of good memories or events that alter us in positive ways, then they become as cherished as those things because we need only look at them to remember.

One of the only people I have been friends with since high school sent me a care package & he kept some of my stuff from when I had to flee my home without me even asking (I told him he could sell them since I had no space to bring them). I’m sobbing.
