@MTA would it kill you to turn on the AC on the LIRR platform in grand central . If ur gonna make me walk a mile to my train the least you could do is turn it on
I really wanted to gate keep this one…but I won’t. Sushi is one of my favorite foods especially as a New Yorker, but I hate expensive overpriced fancy sushi I’m a casual guy.
My favorite spot in NYC in terms of freshness and price is absolutely sushi Hatsune in Chinatown. I’m usually the only person eating in the actual restaurant there.

@abebrowne1@DobbyBalbec29 Not that it was a PR move, but it was a use of leverage from the strongest position the US has had in a decade. There’s no imminent threat…
The only way US didn’t conduct a military op was if they got literally everything they wanted in negotiations - they didn’t, so alas
I have no comments on the Iran operation just yet, but doesn’t this make it clear that the bunker bombing months ago was not as successful as the government let on?
@JasonScheff1@DobbyBalbec29 Fair point. So is ur analysis that the negotiations were just a PR move and the entire time they’ve just been waiting for the right time?
@abebrowne1@DobbyBalbec29 We’re less than a month removed from the protests. When the history looks back on this, it will be viewed as happening at the same time - which it is!
The protests weakened the Iranian diplomatic positions even further - all of this built on itself
@DobbyBalbec29@JasonScheff1 Not wrong but if ur just looking for an opp, don’t see a better one than doing as images are being posted of mass killings of protesters and while the regime would be split dealing with internal and external threats
@JasonScheff1@DobbyBalbec29 Agree with that take but then why not attack a month ago when strikes combined with the mass protests would’ve been an even better opp. I don’t think it’s totally fair to say the “negotiations” were in complete bad faith
@DobbyBalbec29 It’s never been about the nuclear build up - why would it be in IRGC’s best interest to have one if they knew the US would attack following negotiations?
This is opportunism - the op was about showing how US/ISR could infiltrate their defense without fear of major retaliation
Trevor Lawrence during the fantasy playoffs:
Week 15: 44.3 fantasy points
Week 16: 31.16 fantasy points
Week 17: 23.1 fantasy points
His 98.58 points over the last 3 weeks is the most total fantasy points by a QB in the fantasy playoffs during the Super Bowl era.
@abebrowne1@XiDDynasty Congrats on your more playoff appearances. I was just demonstrating your lack of success recently while talking shit about someone else who hasn’t had much success. That’s all.
@DobbyBalbec29@XiDDynasty Why would we not be counting the first year? You have less playoff appearances than us not counting the first 3 years (actually you can count those too)
Some shocking projected starters in the semi-finals from all 4 teams:
- Michael Carter (Dream Team)
- Audric Estime (Scheff/Holzer)
- Blake Corum (Ryan Anderson)
- Justin Jefferson (Nappell)
