Two years ago today, Tommy Kinard came back to 9-1-1…and somehow right into my life at exactly the moment I needed it most. It was such a small thing on the outside - just a character returning - but for me, it became something much bigger. Shortly after, I lost my dad. And everything felt heavy, quiet and hard to carry. And then there was Tommy. There was something about him - his calm presence, his warmth, the way his story unfolded - that gave me something to hold onto when I didn’t have much else. It wasn’t loud or overwhelming. Just…steady. Comforting. There when I needed it. He flew straight into a storm…and somehow right into my heart. And in a way, he stayed there. I know it’s “just a character” to some people but sometimes stories find you at the right time - and they mean more than you can explain. @actuallybrini I heard the part where they mention Lou on tumblr. The woman acknowledged maybe she was misspreading information but it feels like they're not that invested in the actors' previous works. They just talked about like a passing coment.
