Exactly 14 months ago, I was bawling my eyes out in a hospital bed, 21 weeks pregnant with twins. Twin 1’s waters gone. Then a cord prolapse. Everything happening at once. Days blurring into each other. Me, stuck in that hospital holding onto faith and holding a dying twin inside me, just to give his sister a few more weeks. Maybe if we could just get to 24 weeks. But God had other plans. I laboured twice. Once for twin 1. Once for twin 2. I nearly went into septic shock. I went home with empty arms. But one thing I’ve learned about God —He shows off with me. Three months after the worst experience of my life, I conceived twins again. Without even trying. My consultant was stunned. My midwives. My sonographer. “What are the odds?” they kept asking. When God is the game master? The odds are whatever He says they are. This weekend, we baptised our rainbow twins. 🤍 Welcomed them into Christendom.
