I look in the mirror; sometimes I feel a little love, sometimes only doubt, and it sits uneasy in my chest. Still, I stay, because even when I struggle to love who I am, I am the only one I never leave.

Life feels lighter when you stop holding your breath over everything. Do the simple things that you want to do... text, reply, reach out. Unless you’re actually doing something wrong, there’s no real reason to carry that tension. Most of the weight comes from overthinking.
