@angelaoakley34 I get it. As a queer young woman, there's things I dont tell my mom because I love her too much to face any disappointment. You remind me of my mom but as the kid here, the love I have for my mom turns into fear when I dont fit the image of whatever I think she wants me to be.

Wow THIS! My inner child came out with confronting the truth of what I did. My mom has always been accepting, which is why I understood why me not telling her hurt her. I did not want to disappoint her on top of everything she was going through bc I made an impulsive decision.
