@Kuuhaku3993 I tried to say this shit once and got directed to resources that showed japanese people also pronouncing tsunami as sunami, so i don't think it's english people being unable to pronounce it as tsunami, it's just languages being weird and inconsistent.

I don't get why English speakers struggle so much with the "tsu" sound. It's literally the same as in the word "sports". It's not like they pronounce it "spors" like how they say "soonami"
