Nah, a man can’t really “run out” of sperm. In a healthy male, sperm is being produced continuously in the testes. If ejaculation happens repeatedly over a short time, the volume and sperm count can drop temporarily, but it usually recovers with time. So it’s more of a continuous production system rather than something that gets finished. However, if both testes are surgically removed, a procedure called orchiectomy, sperm production stops completely since the testes are the site of production. If only one testis is present, it can still maintain sperm production, often at levels sufficient for fertility. There’s also a condition called azoospermia, which means there is no sperm in the semen. This isn’t due to “running out,” but rather a medical issue. It can be due to an obstruction preventing sperm from being released, or a problem with sperm production itself.

When you sleep, your body shutdown and runs a very smart safety system. During the stage of sleep where you dream the most (REM sleep), your brain is highly active, almost like you’re awake. You might be running, talking, fighting, or doing all sorts of things in your dreams. Now imagine if your body followed along with all of that in real life. You’d literally be moving around, acting out everything in your dream which could be dangerous without you even knowing. So your brain prevents that. That’s why it’s called Rapid Eye Movement sleep. Sometimes though, your mind wakes up before your body does. That’s when sleep paralysis happens you’re aware, but you can’t move for a few seconds or minutes. It feels intense, sometimes even scary, but it passes and doesn’t harm you. So that's one of the most amazing thing the brain can do. 😊❤
