@elgingari10 Arsenal clearly knew he was under investigation, and it’s fair to question their decision to keep playing him. But knowing there’s a case isn’t the same as having proof of guilt. Unless it’s shown they actively protected him, I’m not jumping to conclusions.

@alanmcferran I think that’s a very arsenal way to look at it. Your club should probably set about easing its fans concerns. But their silence speaks volumes. Arteta publicly praised him “after everything he’s been through” it stinks of club protecting an asset.

@elgingari10 I get why people are suspicious, but there’s no evidence Arsenal protected him. Are they really powerful enough to pervert justice? Doubt it. CPS took years to build their case. As for the contract, Partey reportedly wanted more money despite playing less. Enter Norgaard.
