Our sweet girl Macie didn't make it.
Her vitals never stabilized and sepsis ultimately took her life
We did everything we could for her and she passed knowing how deeply she was loved

Barry Allen, Sunset Boulevard and Jimothy the raccoon have very different conditions. They also have some similar traits/shapes.

@TheHerdHouse Way to go, Kief!! I’m continually amazed at how non-fazed Sunset is by these creatures so many times her size. Is she using the litter box now? I don’t think I’ve seen her in fancy pants in a while…

Speaking of explosive diarrhea … I have answers for Kiefer. He does have some allergies. Most are low on the titer but combined with inflammatory bowel disease we have a disaster. We are treating for both. A plan!
IBD “possible” because it cannot be confirmed w/o biopsies. I will not put him through that surgery. We all agree he has it.

@Moooo1985 Thanks so much for asking!! Lots of dr appts, PT, surgical procedures a boat load of meds. Actually I need a bigger boat. Think I’m up to a cruise ship of meds now. Trying to fit work in around everything so I can pay my rent and buy food and other silly stuff.

Benedict Cumberbatch, the dog with almost 2000 aliases using just his initials, passed away in my arms today. His heart and kidneys finally gave out. It was the most peaceful passing. When you look up in the sky tonight and see the Brightest Constellation that’s our BenBen.
