Funnel Teardown Episode #4
Coaches, if your landing page doesn't get people to book a call, it's not working.
Today I'm doing a teardown of @emilyjoydeats's coaching funnel with tons of potential (and what I'd change).
These changes alone can bring her 21% more booked calls than right now.
Current page👇
Some things work, some don't.
Let's see what needs changing.
What's working well?
→ Page speaks directly to the target audience (women over 40)
→ Warm, non-judgmental tone, very relatable
How I'd improve the conversions:
1/ Better headline and structure in the hero section
The headline needs to be clear and outcome-driven.
It should communicate exactly who it's for, what they'll get, and include a CTA.
Example:
"I help busy women 40+ feel good in their bodies again with simple, sustainable nutrition, movement, and self-care."
Then add a strong CTA like:
"Book a free discovery call" or "Get your free consultation today."
2/ Show her offerings in this section
Clearly display what Emily helps with, the services she offers, and how she can make a difference for the target audience.
It's important to be specific here.
3/ Show testimonials and transformations
For any coaching business, results are key.
Display customer stories to shift the reader's mindset into "I can do this too."
Make sure these are visible early on.
4/ Add a "How it works" section
A step-by-step overview of what clients will do while working with Emily will help them visualize their journey.
Let them picture themselves achieving their goals with your help.
5/ Add a testimonial block here
You can never have too many testimonials.
They build trust.
Place this section right after the "How it works" part.
You don't need to expect users to read them all, but when they see a ton of testimonials, they start trusting you more.
6/ Move the about us section
The personal and warm "About Us" section is great, but it's better placed below the testimonial block, not at the top.
7/ Newsletter offering
This is a perfect place to offer a free lead magnet.
A solid offer will encourage visitors to sign up for the email list.
Also, the pop-up could be improved in both design and copy. It needs to be optimized to grab attention.
8/ FAQ section
This is essential!
You need to tackle common objections here.
Address the most frequent questions you get right before the booking section.
If you offer any guarantees, this is the spot to mention them.
9/ Calendar link
The calendar link should be your main CTA on this page.
It's the final step to converting visitors into leads.
You don't necessarily need the email capture on this page but it's important to focus on getting the prospect to book the call.
Overall, this page has a lot of potential.
Would you like to see how I revamp it in real time?
Drop a comment if yes!

@alphacopyinc This is South Asian parents in a nutshell. Always overcompetitive.
English

I used to hate how seriously my mom took school
She once made me fight for 0.25 marks lol
Now I realise…
That mindset built something in me that I use every single day.
-
When I was younger, my mom used to push me hard to get full marks in every test
Now I know what you’re thinking: “Don’t all moms do that?”
And the answer is, yeah… but I come from a South Asian family
Which means if you don’t get full marks, you can kiss being the favourite child goodbye
(not that I was the favourite anyway but still 😭)
My mom would literally encourage me to win back the 0.25 marks
Which to me, felt so unnecessary
Like… it’s almost full right??
What difference does it even make??
Turns out, it actually makes a huge difference
Because that mindset of fighting for every mark built something in me
I was always a high achiever when it came to academics
But once school ended, I had no clue what to do in the real world
There were no books to memorise
No friends to compete with
No grading system
That’s when I had to start figuring things out on my own
I tried different things
A lot of them weren’t for me
But every step brought me closer to what is for me
And because I was raised to push for the best, I bring that same energy into everything I do
Whether it’s business or something as dumb as foosball or badminton, I wanna win (and I usually do 😈)
So yeah, I may have hated fighting for 0.25 marks back then
But now? I get it
Giving your all, even when the world says “that’s good enough,” is what separates people who get there from people who don’t
It’s only a matter of time before you decide it matters.

@BuildwithMK amazing!! so excited for you, big things coming IA!!
English

25 years I lived in Karachi
Will be in Manchester in September.
Why? Well to study on paper. Applied for the student Visa.
But I have a much greater purpose.
Yes I have applied in a University and will be studying there as well.
But mainly the reason is to build myself and create a brand around myself, get better clients and hopefully, become richer.
Applying for a study visa is the cheapest way to migrate to another country (still pretty damn expensive for me)
Hope.
Hoping for a better life in Manchester and finding clarity.
And maybe I help out my parents in a far better way.
A lot to learn. Biggest cultural shock it would be.
But I am excited. And maybe the hard way, I find my clarity in life and figure out my priorities…

Funnel Teardown Episode #3
How I’d turn @akemilab’s funnel into a high-converting one.
This is what it currently looks like 👇
Akemi is a marketing agency helping brands scale predictably through data-driven media buying strategies
In short, they run ads for businesses across multiple platforms.
Now here’s the thing:
There are a few B2B agency funnel formats that just work.
This one doesn’t follow those.
Let’s fix that:
1. Rewrite the headline
The current one feels templated and doesn’t say anything specific
Use a headline like:
“We’ll help you scale to $100k+ months with our {System name} paid ads system in 90 days”
This builds curiosity and sets expectations right away.
2. Add a VSL
VSLs work great for agency funnels
Instead of an “about us” in the hero, use that space for a strong video pitch
(DM me if you want help crafting one.)
3. Show your process visually
Clients want to know how you’ll get them results
Add a clear visual breakdown of your process and what happens after they book a call
4. Include ad examples
You’re an ad agency, show what kind of ads you’ve created
Add a swipeable section with image previews + results + 1-line context
It builds trust instantly
5. Add video testimonials
Client interviews, result recaps, or even Loom screen recordings
These outperform written testimonials by far
6. “Who we’re for” section
Add this to qualify leads and reduce time-wasters
Example:
- You’re doing $25k+/mo
- You’re ready to scale fast
- You value strategy + execution
Update your CTAs across the funnel to match, use “Book a Call” or “Book My Audit.”
Bonus: Offer a lead magnet
For visitors not ready to book
Give them something in exchange for their email (next step of funnel).
Then nurture them with an email sequence until they’re ready to buy.
That’s how I’d turn @akemilab’s current funnel into one that actually converts.

Funnel Teardown Episode #2
If I were to increase @agencyCFO’s funnel conversions by 25%, here’s exactly would I’d do.
This is what his current page looks like 👇
Here’s how I’d increase conversions by at least 15% with a few small changes:
1. Nice headline, add a solid outcome tho
Turn: “Build the agency you’ve always wanted - without worrying about the money part”
Into something like:
“Build a Profitable Agency Without Worrying About Bookkeeping, Accounting, and Cashflow, Without Hiring In-house.”
Much better.
2. Change CTA to book a call
Nobody wants to ‘Get to kanow’ you
They want to get to business.
So do you, right?
The sooner you get them to book a call the better.
You can even put in “Book an Free Audit”, if you offer that.
3. Simplify the ‘What we do section’.
Bullets. Bullets. Bullets.
Maybe a different design to keep them from blending in.
Prospects should immediately know what you do.
4. Make visuals stand out
It’s blending in, I’d use different colors and designs to make it clear, even if the prospect decides to skim.
5. Move the testimonials up
They have a nice stack of testimonials.
I’d move them up, and also add in some case studies above this with short descriptions.
This will handle the heavy lifting for the conversions.
6. Embed calendar
At the end of this landing page, there is a weak CTA:
“Get in touch with us”
I’d remove that, add a bold headline to tell them that if this is them, they need to Book a call immediately.
Works best with most clients I’ve had. No need to add fake urgency
If they resonate, it won’t be hard to get them on a call.
7. Bonus tip: I’d add a “who this is for / not for” section.
Get those unqualified leads out the door first.
If @agencyCFO implements these tips, I’m sure he’ll increase his conversions massively.

Being street smart has helped me in more ways than I can count, especially in business
Let me explain with a funny little story...
Back when I used to live in the Middle East and would visit my home country for vacations…
My family would strictly tell me not to speak when we went to the market
Why?
Because the moment I’d speak in English, the shopkeeper would try to overcharge us lmao
I was young, and didn’t get the concept back then
But if I were the one negotiating, he would’ve played me so bad
I would’ve left with a plastic toy at luxury pricing 😂
Over time though, I started picking up on patterns
I developed what I now call my BS detector (lol)
Yeah, I got scammed a few times early on (dumb mistakes my mom told me off for) but each one made me sharper
Living in a place where you had to watch your back constantly felt like an extreme sport at the time (especially when you’re new)
Then when I started looking for freelance work as a teen, I joined local online groups
Some of those were goldmines for scammers
People got taken for rides left and right
But by that point, I was hyper-aware
I never fell for a fake client, and that awareness has stuck with me since
Even now, I can instantly tell who’s pretending, who won’t pay, and who’s not gonna show up to the call
This is why street smart > book smart in a lot of real-world situations
Learn how to read people.
Learn how to read situations.
And trust your gut when something feels off.
Get street smart my bois 💪 thank me later.
