But the problem isn’t only the users tbh. A lot of projects just relied on Somnia hype/posts for their NFTs without building any real utility around them. You can’t expect people to hold forever when there’s no actual reason to hold. If an NFT is only useful for finishing a quest, people will treat it like a quest item and move on. Blaming users alone while many projects failed to create value, incentives, or strong communities isn’t really fair. Then let me ask you something about Uprising. The first Genesis NFTs mainly had utility for boosting Uprising points, and now the floor is basically dead. Then the project moved to Somnia with a new NFT collection. So what’s the actual utility of the old NFTs now? And what’s the utility of the new ones besides farming points again? Even for gamenights, I can join and play without needing the NFT just to maybe enter a $3 raffle. So why should people hold long term?

seeing so many ppl complaining about the @Somnia_Network airdrop. yet, many of the accounts I see posting have never joined an event/ama; immediately sold their nfts after the snapshot; have never showed support to any partner project; don't show up to partner gamenights; have no idea what other projects are there in the eco; most also have no idea about the collections on somnia because they only interacted with them to finish a quest to make it even worse, some would literally melt the nft prices after completing their quests, showing no regard for those projects or their communities, including the so called whales and kols, who were among the first to dump all their nfts as soon as the season snapshot occurred tweeting that you care about a project or a chain means nothing if your actions say otherwise if you don't care about the health of the chain and its projects, do you really believe there will be a lot of $ to distribute? how can you complain about something when you don't help build the eco and the communities inside it? a chain can only grow if its users allow it. if a paycheck is all you're interested in, you'll keep getting a measly airdrop, until there's nothing more to get you can choose do your part and help build a sustainable system, or keep being an airdrop farmer, get you allo and move on ❤️
