Lots to take from this morning's closing statements at the Grenfell Tower Inquiry, but this from Danny Friedman KC is probably worth sharing. The inquiry has shown a world absent empathy. As well as all the technical stuff, that needs to change

transitioning into living in a cold home is associated with a doubling of the risk of severe mental distress for those who previously had no mental health symptoms, and a tripling in the risk for those who were previously on the borderline of mental distress
