I just can’t get past Labour winning 65% of seats off 34% of the vote. Absolutely wild mismatch between the headline result and, well, everything else. Britain is now a multi-party system, and first-past-the-post can’t cope.

❗ IMPORTANT One of the worst things about my work is having to regularly deal with malicious impersonation, and I'm losing my patience. This time, I am being impersonated by a scammer, who is contacting cycling brands in my name to receive free products, promising content in return. Obviously, this is not me. I will only contact brands through my official social media channels, or the email address shown on my profile. I will never promise reviews in return for free products as I don't do paid reviews. Any advice on how to deal with these situations is welcome. I've already contacted local authorities as the scammer provided a delivery address and phone number. In case the scammer reads this, learn how to spell, and most importantly, I will find you. 👀

What’s clear is that people in western nations can’t thump their chests and compare their own moderately declining emissions to China’s and India’s (and maybe soon Africa’s) growing ones. But nor can developing countries claim anything close to their fair “quota” of emissions without seriously risking utter collapse. A a lot of humility and skillful, honest, good-faith negotiation will be needed, both before and at the next COP.

Nice little window restoration job this week. Love that people want to keep these features in their homes and not rip them out.
