Most puzzling in all the recent events is that the government was considered a corrupt, overreaching, authoritarian regime during COVID due to their mandates and compliance orders by the right. What they reported was considered faked, exaggerated, and being used to posture themselves for more control and greater ability to impose orders people must fall in line with. I remember seeing post after post and having conversation after conversation with people about how relinquishing rights, even if they were for the greater good, would set Americans up for more government intervention and overreach. This was due to masking, vaccine mandates, and directives to keep distance and limit unnecessary travel or contact. Now, we have masked agents who aren’t identifying themselves coming into cities and a government that demands unquestioning compliance with whatever they say, even if you are a citizen, even if they have no warrant, and regardless of what they’re demanding of you. You must simply comply, no questions. And the very people who believed that being told to mask and stay inside was horrendous government overreach that would lead to further abuses of power are defending this because it somehow does not register that this is actually the abuse of power they feared. It’s just being directed at people they don’t like (immigrants, progressive anti-ice folks) so they cheer and laugh because the administration orchestrating it has the letter after their names that they align with. They believe this shields them from everything. You can try to lead a horse to water, but find that that horse has already gulped kool aid

Finally women are being studied and now we are finding out that the women (egg )doesn't really have a biological clock it's the men who do...... Quality of a man's sperm is responsible for most miscarriages. Over time, The egg quality remains the same but quantity drops, but for a man (sperms) quality drops and quantity remains the same!....wheww

My extremely simplistic opinion on how the world should work is that forcefully attempting to spread your religion to any peoples/region who wants to worship/exist differently from you is cancerous and will always lead to perpetual unrest and war. Let Muslims be Muslim. Let Christians be Christian. Let Jews be Jews. Let Hindus be Hindu. The list goes on. It’s not your personal duty to “save” anyone and living alongside someone with a different lifestyle than you is entirely possible if you just mind your fucking business. The level of violence, unrest, and intolerance we see today largely stems from generation after generation of attempts to conquest, convert, colonize, etc. I don’t know why human beings are so dead set on imposing their will on other people. Just leave people the fuck alone lmao I genuinely don’t get it. You don’t need to save anyone. If you think they’re going to hell, simply let them. If you think what they follow is blasphemous, let it be blasphemous. You don’t have to go to their church and you don’t have to hang out with them. Just leave other people alone. Truly mind bogging to me, as someone who generally cannot be bothered, why people choose to be so bothered. Your lives sound miserable.

I am 5’9. Some argue 5’10 but my license says 5’9. 5’9 is considered tall for a woman but by no means is it gigantic. I ordered a pair of jeans in longs. Just got them. They’re still about an inch too short. I bitch about this constantly but I genuinely cannot grasp why 5’9 is like a comically large unfathomable height for women when it comes to clothing companies. In their minds every woman is 5’5 or below. How in the fuck do LONGS still fall an inch short on me???? I am not 6 feet tall! I am FIVE FUCKING NINE.
