I spent my time going through the article below. I love the core idea behind Rilato, but what grabbed my attention the most is the Engelbart comparison and its specialty.
Here’s a quick breakdown of what Rilato is based on
• Rilato is a hybrid of art, philosophy, and technology, not a standard startup or app, also an experimental interface concept for interacting with your inner psychological state.
The key idea is making subjective experience a way you can control, change or adjust easily, just as computers made logic and information manipulable.
•The reference to Douglas Engelbart “the mother of all demos” is intentional, but it’s more symbolic than equivalent.
Where the comparison is a bit of a stretch?
Engelbart demonstrated working systems (mouse, hypertext, collaboration tools)
Rilato, at least publicly, is still conceptual, experiential and partially defined.
Rilato is aiming to be something big and game changing, like a new way of using technology but it hasn’t actually proven it works yet.
It’s more of a vision of the future than something fully real or tested right now.

>> Subjectivity can be externalized
>> Subjectivity can be interacted with
>> Technology can mediate inner experience
This is the real intellectual core. Everything else like tokens, rollout style, aesthetic language, sits around it.
