The Steven Universe facial expressions are just on another level, the feelings are perfectly translated in the faces and it makes you feel more immersive when watching, the art direction of the series deserves more respect ❤️

sad to me that people hate on steven universe future all the time — esp as i’ve gotten older and matured, i’ve gained such a huge appreciation for it and the way it explores trauma and mental health because frankly enough, not many cartoons get the chance to do so
