Yes I’ll admit
That post about Caesarian section triggered me
Because I’m a woman who was in labour for 40 hours
I was given the maximum dose of oxytocin three times to induce labour and did not dilate beyond 2cm
I was so mentally prepared to push out a human but my body just wouldn’t
Which one should I talk about?
The intense pain ripping through me every few minutes?
Should I talk about how excruciating it is to have doctors check you for dilation while you’re actively in labour?
Should I talk about the exhaustion?
Should I talk about how that when those who have vaginal delivery have long forgotten CS moms are still grappling with wounds and pain and numbness and tingling from the anaesthetsia?
I had my baby in Canada and the nurses kept asking me if I wanted a pain relief
I did not want any drug to interfere
I was ready to bear the pain and I did
I think I have the most supportive husband in the world. He stood there every second with me. Holding my hand. Wincing as Pain coursed through me
But he did not feel the pain. Not the physical one.
I did.
So has every woman who has gone through this
When the doctors saw that my contractions were not the “good type”, they said I could get a uterine rupture, I had to be taken for a CS.
And everyday I’m grateful to God for the miracle of a CS
That a mother who has given her all can still have her baby and they both be fine
So sir, when you have had contractions for 40 hours
When you have had 7 layers of your body sliced open so you can bring forth children
When you have gone months nursing a wound that is layers deep
When you’ve been placed on a cold surgical table and cut 7 layers deep
For some 4 times.
Then come back and have this Conversation with me
Thank God for your mother and the long line of women in your family that had vaginal deliveries.
But no two women are the same.
Don’t put that burden on the woman you would marry.
A CS is not a shortcut
A CS does not make a woman weak
A CS does not happen because you did not pray enough or you’re unlucky
A CS is a medical miracle so that women like me especially pre term moms, can come out alive from the mystery that is pregnancy and childbirth
Blessings.

My advice to you young men and women.
Take the 2027 elections seriously.
Face it as if your life depends on it.
You're fighting for the soul of your country.
Do it peacefully but fearlessly.
Shun any attempt to bribe you with money, food, etc, to sell your conscience & future.
Support your candidate of your choice.
For me & my household, our support would go to Peter Obi and Kwankwaso.
It doesn't matter which political party you support.
Let whoever wins the presidential election be seen to have won freely, fairly and credibly.
When Buhari won in 2015, most of us didn't feel cheated.
We were happy but we later got disappointed.
I believe that Buhari won the 2015 elections, and that was why we all had to suffer our fate.
For 2023, it was marred by alot of violence, doubts and credibility.
But since our court had certified that the election was won by Tinubu, I'll not say that he is not the President (by law).
He's going to contest the 2027 elections as a sitting president.
If he wins freely and fairly, we would accept it.
And no one would have to go to court to contest it.
End.

Since Peter Obi was rigged out in 2023, the man did not rest.
He moved around Nigeria and the world spreading the message that a new Nigeria is POssible.
He inspired young people all over Nigeria to believe and not give up.
He spent his money contributing to education and health just to show Nigerians that he was indeed invested in a new Nigeria.
Conservative cumulative estimates from public reports show that Peter Obi's donations From 2024 easily exceed ₦2.5 – 3.5+ billion Naira.
Peter Obi was building water projects in the remote North. He was moving from one state to another like a tourist.
APC become scared of his popularity and started blocking him from visiting Nigerians who needed empathy that they couldn't provide.
While Peter Obi was doing all this, Atiku was chilling.
Now elections are here and you are telling me Peter Obi should be VP to Atiku.
Brain cancer will take you, since you don't want to use your head.

Personally can’t stand when people are gassed by who can “PLAY” politics the best. You can’t understand that it’s literally the lives of the entire population at stake, it’s not a game, it’s a fucking job position. Like you can clearly see a certain candidate has no solid qualifications or desire to do the job well asides “ HE CAN PLAY POLITICS” and that’s what is getting some of you excited ?
