@VincentGene11 @TonyDungy I don’t think anything should be “forced.” RB shelf life is typically 5 years. Just doesn’t seem right to have RBs sign 4-5 year rookie deals. Seems like they should be advised/allowed to sign 1-2 year deals initially so their second contract covers years 3-6.

In football you get drafted and you get paid by supply and demand. The demand for certain positions has changed because of the rules and how the game is played now. Highest demand today is: QBs, Receivers, Pass Rushers and Cover Men. That’s who will get paid in immediate future.
