Google Cloud Run has been great for many years, with only the occasional hiccup, so we do not have plans to migrate away anytime soon. People tend to underestimate the challenge of PDF generation at scale, while keeping costs low. We are a proud leader in this area.

Our PDF generation service still runs on Google Cloud Run (we were an early adopter of this GCP product). We do have our eye on @Cloudflare Containers but their product needs to mature and be able to handle our container size (over 2 gb!) and scaling requirements.

Moved our api2pdf.com public website to @Railway. Love railway and @RaythaHQ.

October saw record revenue, sign ups, and usage! This follows a trend over the past six months where a majority of new customers are coming from LLMs like Claude and Gemini. We appreciate your continued business! 🥳🥳🥳

@googlecloud Last 40 minutes or so, services have been working well. Aligns with Google's latest updates that systems are recovering.

@googlecloud Seems like it is starting to come back online. We noticed that sometimes requests are being processed and other times it fails.

Our provider, Google Cloud Run is having issues, we are looking into it.

If you are "vibe coding", please check the *actual* api documentation before putting in a support ticket when your AI code does not work.

We shattered multiple records in March! API2PDF processed 17.8 million API calls!! 🪇🪇🪇

Consumption records shattered again for November!

Our Chrome's HTML to PDF endpoint accounted for 60% of all endpoint revenue last month. We set numerous consumption and revenue records for October.

Fun fact: We have generated more than 450 million PDFs since we launched in 2018. That is a lot of PDFs!

Google Cloud Run services appear to be down and widespread. Investigating.
