Mine and @mathecatical's 2D atmospheric model is out in JOSS today! SWAMPE is pip installable, tuned to model hot Jupiters and sub-Neptunes, and easily adjustable to model dissimilar space objects, from Brown Dwarfs to terrestrial planets.

@chadtopaz I accidentally bought decaf tea last year without noticing and spent a week wondering if I had covid because I was feeling tired all the time.

@AcademicChatter Add to that: international students are not "more deserving" of this protection than any other kind of immigrant.

International students shouldn't be protected because "their labs/departments will produce less research without them", but because they're *PEOPLE*.

Looking forward to talking about modeling Earth's glacial cycles next Friday and excited to hear about the other featured speakers' research!
