One of my biggest tells in ppl if they are a good person or not is whether do they like bugs or not. Insect and reptile lovers showcase empathy to a creature that will most likely not return that love back, and they are perfectly comfortable with that fact

Maybe they do, maybe they don't. Same could be argued for mammals to an extent actually. It's selfish to expect human feelings and morality from animals. They're not human, we are. Real animal lovers love them unconditionally, for what they are, animals.
