Quite a specific request here... Can anyone think of any books (picturebooks, novels or poetry) suitable for primary, which feature parents who are preoccupied with something, such as their phones, and don't give their children much attention? All suggestions appreciated.

I wouldn't usually do this, but my Year 6 girl (11) spent hours of half-term on this Covid-inspired animation. She came up with the concept, took hundreds of photographs and did everything herself. If you like it, please like it. I want to prove to her hard work can get noticed.

@culpintc @GomersalArt They’re gorgeous! I will do some next year for my space topic and put some poetry on the top with tracing paper :-)

@artsatcastleton @GomersalArt Just used ink with water using wash technique and dropping ink on to the watercolour paper and used acrylic white paint for splashes. The children loved watching the effects they had made
