Newton Rigg in Cumbria still feeds official weather data to the UK Met Office, even though the station closed back in 2021. Newton Rigg is one of seven historic Met Office stations, 20% of the record, that either closed or never existed in the first place. The Met Office claims these ghost stations are providing estimations from well-correlated neighboring stations, but some of those neighboring stations don't exist either. According to the WMO, 80% of UK stations have errors of 2-5C, yet Met Office data reports temperatures to a hundredth of a degree. This isn't science. It's manufactured data built to serve a narrative.

A large tree trunk has been uncovered beneath a glacier in the Alps, dated to around 6,000 years ago. The species is Swiss stone pine. Today, trees of that type cannot grow at that altitude because it is far too cold. 6,000 years ago aligns with the Holocene climate optimum, a time when temperatures were far higher than now, even with far less atmospheric CO2. Earth's climate is cyclical. Mother Nature self-regulates. Narratives of doom serve political aims, not reality.

There is something you have either ignored or haven’t updated yourself with, Water Vapour is meant to dissolve or disperse into the atmosphere far quicker than CO2. Currently the high amount of WV from the January 2022 historic Underwater Volcanic Eruption at Hunga Tonga that went into the Stratosphere remains, how much is anyone’s guess. WV is the most significant Greenhouse Gas, some twentyfold bigger than CO2. So, nobody is saying there isn’t any additional warming taking place.

Almost 80% of UK Met Office stations have error margins of up to 2C, with many as bad as 5C. Yet the same agency claims new records down to a hundredth of a degree. Of the UK's 380 stations, only 14% meet World Meteorological Organization standards. The rest sit beside roads, buildings or runways, places like Heathrow and St James' Park. According to the WMO, almost half of UK stations are rated Class 4, unreliable, with a third rated Class 5, effectively junk. These distorted readings feed climate emergency headlines and Net Zero policies. Meanwhile, satellite and high-grade US datasets show only slight warming - a continuation of the post-Little Ice Age temperature rise. But those don't serve the narrative, so they're routinely ignored.

Great quote from @shellenberger: “A gallon of jet fuel contains 34 kilowatt-hours of energy in a package weighing six pounds. A lithium-ion battery storing the same energy weighs 250 pounds. That density gap is why every military on earth runs on liquid hydrocarbons, why every container ship crossing the Pacific burns bunker fuel, why every combine harvester in Iowa runs on diesel, and why every 747 landing at Heathrow runs on kerosene. The fact that nobody wages war over solar panels is evidence of their limitations not superiority.” Bottom Line: The laws of physics and thermodynamics are laws, not mere suggestions.

"There is no climate emergency." That's the message from over 2,000 scientists and professionals worldwide, including Nobel laureate John Clauser, MIT's Richard Lindzen and Emeritus Professor at the University of Melbourne Ian Plimer. They all say climate science has become too political, and that the models behind global policy are flawed. Warming is far slower than predicted, they assert. CO2 is not pollution, it's plant food, the basis of all life on earth. And there's zero evidence that hurricanes, floods or droughts are worsening. The World Climate Declaration calls for science over panic and prosperity through reliable, affordable energy. "There is no climate emergency," say more than 2,000 scientists.

The UN claims "wildfires are on the rise all over the world." But this isn't true. Satellite records from NASA's MODIS sensors track fire activity worldwide. They show the area burned has declined significantly. Between 1998 and 2015, global burned area fell by about 24% - a trend that has continued through 2025. Long-term data shows the same consistent pattern of decline - fewer fires and less land burned. The wildfire narrative does not match the data.

Inventing temperature readings from phantom weather stations and now inflating maximum daily temperature records. Do you see that the MET office are on a mission to fabricate evidence to justify Net Zero. They have to because it’s all a fraud being played on you
Toby Young@toadmeister

New research has found 'statistical proof' that the Met Office is inflating UK maximum daily temperatures, with the odds that corrupted weather stations are recording temperatures accurately being less than one in 10,000. dailysceptic.org/2026/03/29/sta…

100 years of Spanish rainfall data just crushed another climate myth. From 1916 to 2022, more than 19,000 rain events were recorded, and the trend is shown to be flat to down. We see no increase in frequency nor intensity. And the biggest storms, those dropping over 200 mm a day, peak mid-century, not recently. A century of data says it all. Extreme rainfall isn't rising in Spain. But that doesn't stop headline after headline claiming otherwise.

Wow, that @TheLancet chart is one of the most dishonest and misleading I have ever seen. Imagine comparing deaths from heat and deaths from cold but using a completely different scale for the two.
Jim Steele@JimSteeleSkepti

Dr. Genevieve Guenther is the author of "The Language of Climate Politics". Her latest post reveals just how dishonest her language is. In response to her tweet that according to the , "journal @TheLancet, heat waves caused an estimated 546,000 deaths every year between 2012 and 2021 – a 63% rise on rates seen in the 1990s." Dr. Genevieve fear mongered "this is what “safe” global heating looks like." To put heat wave deaths in context I posted a graph from the Lancet showing cold deaths cause 10X more deaths than warm deaths! Dr. Genevieve replied dishonestly claiming it was not from the Lancet but a random graph created by deniers at the CO2 coalition. So I posted, there and here, the attached graphs, showing the graph is not random but taken from the Lancet's Masselot et al (2023) Excess mortality attributed to heat and cold: a health impact assessment study in 854 cities in Europe (Volume 7, Issue 4e271-e281 April 2023) It is true the CO2 Coalition modified the graph, but only because the Lancet's version was so deceptive. The attached graph on the left was the Lancet's original. If you look at the x-axis of the Lancet's graph the 0-5 distance for warm deaths is stretched by 5X relative to that of cold deaths, giving the false impression cold and warm deaths are about equal. The CO2 Coalition adjusted the X-axis to be honestly proportional so that the x-axis' 0 to 50 distance is equal for both warm and cold deaths. That's the difference between our 'climate politics language'. The Coaltion speaks to truth while dishonest alarmists grifters like Dr. Genevieve Guenther prefer to smear anyone as deniers who disagree with her grifting. Dr. Genevieve is the real Science denier!

A new study has identified more than 3100 surging glaciers worldwide. Mainstream coverage has framed this as evidence that global warming is destabilizing glaciers. But that framing is wrong. A glacier surge only occurs after ice has grown upstream. Over long quiet periods, ice accumulates at high elevations. The upper glacier thickens. Mass builds. Then that stored ice rapidly surges downhill. Surging glaciers are not evidence of melt-driven collapse. They depend on ice build-up at altitude.

It's a literal fact that the Met Office has been forced to delete data after it was shown to have been made up Essentially members of the public went to inspect the weather station and found no equipment at the site So they asked the Met Office which said the data were interpolated from other sites So they went to those sites and found no equipment there either So they again asked the Met Office which then deleted the data So yes, the Met Office has been found to be inventing data

A new study shows a thick ice cap in Greenland was completely ice-free just 7,000 years ago. The cap is Prudhoe Dome, which today is some 1,600 feet thick. The researchers drilled through the ice and dated the sediments below it. It turns out those sediments were once exposed to sunlight, meaning there was no ice. 7,000 years ago, summer temperatures were 3 to 5C warmer than today. This study shows, once again, that large ice losses have occurred in the recent past, caused entirely by natural climate variability - no CO2 forcing required.
