@davidkurten Depends what kind of society you want. Humans can live without farms roads and railways too. Any invention has consequences. Personally I like my solar panels, 5g, and data centers and am willing to accept the consequences.

@WhatNowDoc So not based on evidence just “a feeling” Not like NASA has been working on this for 57 years. Flying to the moon was abandoned because NASA was defunded and there wasn’t a reason. Recently there has been a push to create a lunar base - this renewed interest and money. Simple.

I’m sorry, I used to think the “conspiracy theorists” were just nutters. This week I’ve decided we were conned. Hear me out. That 1969 spacecraft I watched on my black and white TV had less computing power than your wristwatch, less than some thermostatic controllers I have on my walls. This week NASA sent a $93billion spacecraft to *orbit* the moon, just orbit, in preparation for an actual moon landing in a few years time. Why on earth would it take us 57 years, and a $93b test flight, with the compute power and comms facilities we have today, if we’d already done it successfully, once before, with so little, 57 years ago. Nah, I’m now with the conspiracy theorists.

Who among us watched man’s first walk on the moon? Sunday, July 20, 1969.

So much has been said about this insanity already, but it really comes down to the Golden Rule: Would YOU want a foreign nation to destroy the utility grid that makes every aspect of modern life possible for yourself and your loved ones? Think about it: power and running water gone overnight. Back to the Stone Age, as some might say. If that happened, how many people would die? What would life be like in the aftermath? There is a reason why this is considered by any decent person to be a war crime, and if you are OK with it being done to someone else you’re no Christian at all, or at least you’re a pathetic excuse for one.

@lydon911 @SKMorefield That’s a good point thanks. Seems like bombing infrastructure starts to get into the grey zone though. At some point there are no military targets left and not sure what happens then if the people don’t seize control.

@x_sitcom @SKMorefield Terrorists attacks from Iran seem likely. It’a the only action the can take on US soil. Mentioning that scenario is not me acting like the US should be scared. Being prepared is not the same as being fearful.

@atethousands @SKMorefield Is Iran ready to be erased from the map? Why you’re acting that we should be more scared of the Iranians than they should be of us? That’s just stupid.

Lots of people are losing their shit because Trump called the Iranian leadership "crazy bastards" and said "praise be to Allah" on Easter Sunday To me this doesn't bother me at all. Trump has always been unfiltered However, what worries me greatly is the threat: "Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day" This is civilian infrastructure; causing civilian harm to achieve military objectives That's not ok. I know the closure of the Strait of Hormuz is terrible for the global economy, putting Trump in a corner, but the solution is not causing harm to civilians, the same civilians Trump praised in January and promised to support during the protests These threats constitute a crime under international humanitarian law: Article 51: “The civilian population as such, as well as individual civilians, shall not be the object of attack.” Article 48: "Parties shall at all times distinguish between the civilian population and combatants… and accordingly shall direct their operations only against military objectives.” For the sake of the Iranian people, I urge Iran's leadership to accept some concessions to end the war soon, and I urge Trump not to deliver on his threats

Imagine if Iran bombed and destroying the Golden Gate Bridge in California. What would you call the act? The USA-Israel the “aggressors”bombed and destroyed Iran's tallest bridge, the B1 Bridge. This will only unify the Iranian people against Israel and the United States. This is not what Trump ran on and this is not what we voted for…

@RealAlexJones If you question Trump the cult will turn on you in an instant. I wish it weren’t so. People should be able to question without immediately being labeled. You can Agree with Trump AND think the war is just AND also believe this will create terrorism in the US for decades to come

@conspiracyslyr @IEAffiliate @Ericdun19416783 They are underachievers, bitter about the fact they never made anything of their lives. They have to discredit intelligent, successful people to try to manifest some self worth. All they have are social media likes that they pretend are friends.

@AdityaRajKaul He will escalate, further sinking into the quagmire. Iran won’t surrender but will continue to strike the US and its allies with Russian support. Ukraine 2.0 essentially. Eventually this war will come to US soil with civilian targets and terroism for generations to come.

Chemtrails are not real. The only reason why this dumb conspiracy theory even exists is because science-illiterate adults who failed 5th grade science got scared when they saw clouds trailing behind airplanes. If that frozen condensation wasn't visible, “chemtrails” wouldn't even be a thing that was talked about. Proposed stratospheric aerosol injections (SAI) are a real thing, at least in theory. But that process, which is very expensive and not widely conducted, does not produce visible “trails” behind aircraft. Clouds also do not form in the stratosphere, except for the rare polar stratospheric clouds (PSCs) seen during the winter in the Arctic and Antarctic, which form at altitudes of 15–25 km (10–15 miles) when air temperatures dip below −78°C (−108°F). PSCs are often colorful because they are created by the condensation of trace gases such as stratospheric water vapor (H₂O), nitric acid (HNO₃), and sulfuric acid (H₂SO₄). 🔗scied.ucar.edu/image/polar-st… Cloud seeding, on the contrary, is done inside of existing clouds to attempt making them more efficient at producing rainfall or snowfall, usually wintertime orographic (think mountain-produced) stratiform (gray, sheet-like) clouds or convective (fluffy, cotton ball-like cumulus) clouds. Contrails, which people on here mistake for alleged “chemtrails,” are artificial cirriform clouds akin to the natural feather-like cirrus clouds, which do not precipitate. The efficacy of cloud seeding at enhancing precipitation, however, is not really known. Estimates vary. 🔗chrismartzweather.com/2025/10/19/con… 🔗#contrails" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">epa.gov/geoengineering… That being said, I don't care if SAI or cloud seeding are banned. Cloud seeding should probably, at the very least, be more strictly regulated at a federal level. SAI should in all honesty be banned whether it is in use or not. But neither of those things have anything to do with the clouds you see overhead that form behind airplanes. Those are not examples of “spraying.” What people see are contrails and contrails only. The only way those will ever go away is if we ban air travel or change the laws of physics, the latter of which is not possible. People need to stop being paranoid about things due to some YouTube or TikTok video, and start learning a thing or two about science.

@ChrisMartzWX Except chemtrails ARE real. Maybe the conspiracy got stretched too far by some( maybe not) They just prefer to call chemtrails "atmospheric aerosol injections"

@Dan__Stevens Then call them contrails and you will be taken seriously. Contrails are increasing with increase in air travel. Newer jet engines produce more contrails. Contrails can and do form into clouds. It’s a consequence of air travel, just as smog is a consequence of industry.

@DiePredigerin So where’s the proof? Manufacturing the chemicals alone would rival the size of the petroleum industry. You’re crazy if you think something that big could be hidden with not a single photo or shred of evidence. And that’s just 1 piece of the equation. Chemmies are looney.
