Naval said something that makes a lot of sense (again).
“Freedom is not needing to be at a specific location at a specific time”
It’s exactly why for majority that our 9-5 has become so unfulfilling.
But before hybrid work and the solopreneur explosion, 90% of people had a 9-5 and were much happier.
I think the rise in the cost of living plays a big role.
30 years ago, 1 income could run a house hold of 4. Go on holiday, actually buy a house.
The reward from working a 9-5 was much greater than it is today.
We live with such freedom and opportunity with the internet but development of our education is out dated.
That’s why info products are doing so well.
Coaching people how to build an online business is a business that is making a lot of fucken money.
Personal brand building etc.
Food for thought. 💭 🥐

A personal brand is just the modern version of having a reputation.
We used to care about how we showed up at school, on the field, or in a room.
Now, it’s how we show up online.
Your personal brand isn’t about logos or aesthetics, it’s about how people feel when they hear your name.
- Are you reliable?
- Do you follow through?
- Do you provide value?
- Are you real?
This is your reputation—broadcasted at scale.
And just like real life, people talk.
Your content is just the conversation you start before you even enter the room.

@fromfady Great result dude.
What was the 1 thing that shifted your mindset the most?
English

Aren’t you tired of trying other people’s strategy.
It is all just a game on some level.
We just need to learn the rules and then use our own mind to come up with own strategy.
For me, I’ve never stuck to my gut because I want it fast.
I want growth now.
I want to make money now.
I want to have independence now.
But it doesn’t work like that.
Learn the rules, think of strategy, try and then iterate.
Don’t take my advice, figure it out for yourself.
You’re the main character.

The biggest mindset shift I’ve recently had is:
1. A lifestyle is not a one size fits all or even a one size fits many. It’s a one size that fits YOU (and perhaps a few others)
2. The people you admire (compare yourself to) do not always share the same values as you. So you shouldn’t compare yourself to them.
Focus on you. The girl in the red dress has issues you not aware of.
