Our first retrofitted Boeing 787-8, VT-ANT, has arrived.
This marks the completion of a nose-to-tail cabin refresh of the first of 26 aircraft in this programme - and a key milestone in our ongoing fleet transformation.
This is just the beginning of a transformed flying experience for our guests, as these twin-aisle aircraft serve long-haul destinations across the UK, Europe, the United States, and the Far East.
More details soon as it prepares to enter service.

VT-RIO was the Last Delivery, Back in July of 2024.

FAA has certified an increased maximum takeoff weight (iMTOW) for the 787-9 and 787-10 #Dreamliner.
787-9: Roughly 10,000-pound (4,540-kilogram) increase enables about 3 metric tons of extra payload, or more than 300 nm (560 km) of additional range.
787-10: Roughly 14,000-pound (6,350-kilogram) increase enables about 5 metric tons of extra payload, or more than 400 nm (740 km) of additional range.

Phuket International Airport has been temporarily closed following a landing incident involving Air India Express flight IX938.
The Boeing 737 MAX 8 (Reg: VT-BWQ) from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport reportedly suffered a nose wheel failure on landing, leaving the aircraft stranded on the runway and forcing the airport to suspend operations.
