HSBC completes tokenised deposit pilot on canton network HSBC has successfully tested its Tokenised Deposit Service on the Canton Network (@CantonNetwork). The pilot simulated issuance, transfer and atomic settlement of tokenised deposits. This marks the first time HSBC used its system on a public blockchain environment. The test included settlement against other digital assets in a controlled setup.

NEW: @OndoFinance just filed with the SEC to show that public blockchain and securities regulation can coexist. The filing asks the SEC to approve an onchain layer for its Global Markets platform without changing existing investor protections.
