For three days I've been told to get out and have been subject to THOUSANDS of comments being antisemitic and sometimes want to give up. However, these small messages of love give us hope and make us realise we are not alone

@ChrisToland68 @CWBOCA "Don’t tend to" is a qualifier that acknowledges exceptions. It was not an absolute claim. Fact: The service is based in areas with high concentrations of Jews, so the majority of calls come from Jews, even though they serve anyone in the area.

I think a lot of the nastiness surrounding the Hatzola ambulances is rooted in envy. People in the UK are envious that a community got together and did something good because they know that their own communities wouldn't do the same. Rather than emulating us, they choose to hate.

Except St John’s ambulance works through the NHS and they don't have their own separate special number.
Hatzola has a different number that seems to be only known to the Jewish community.

Now comes the social media double whammy. Four ambulances of a volunteer service for north west London, staffed and financed by the Jewish community for everyone's use, are destroyed. That's followed by social media posts attacking Jews for having their own ambulance service...which we don't have. Because they are an act of charity. For everyone. It's like saying St John's Ambulance is 'for Christians'. Which it isn't. It's also for everyone. But it's Jews, so what does the truth matter?

@Nero I hope it’s of benefit. We should always consciously reflect upon our lives and choices in a constructive way… seeking knowledge from every place. We never know where we may be lead. There’s an interesting and wonderful dynamic in Cambridge, there are a lot of native converts.
