@barnivore I noticed that virtually all of the information on the @SmirnoffUS says that the ingredients are vegan friendly, though not certified, yet everything is given the red box and "Not Vegan Friendly" label. Why is this?

OK, last week it was funny, but it looks like Diageo is using the same stock response for all their brands, and it’s… not the smartest? @smirnoffUS cannot confirm or deny if their vodka contains, well, you name it.

Biggest “effort” tonight is to avoid engaging that particular brand on Twitter. I mean, if they can’t confirm or deny their ingredients, what’s the dumbest thing they might be? Potato salad? They won’t deny it! What else are they hiding?

It’s my second favourite dodgy response (the first will always be “don’t ask us, ask your doctor” and yes that was a real response once or twice over the years)

Sometimes we get responses in other languages sent in as screenshots. Which is totally fine! But it means I have to type it manually into Google Translate, and I am telling you For Science that saying the words out loud in a ridiculous accent is faster than typing in silence.

(And yes, that's a ridiculous accent that I think the language might sounds like. I didn't test typing German while saying everything with terrible frat boy North American Scottish accent, for example. I am a professional.)
