if i love you, i would never want you to be the same person you were when i first met you time after. keep your core values close and maintain your principles but know that my love doesn’t fear your growth, my love only wants to see you bloom into the fullest version of yourself.

Educators are expected to fix everything in society…. But who’s going to piece us back together as we break ourselves trying?

It’s not that there aren’t solutions to the challenges of educational inequity. It’s more about whether folx want to truly humble themselves then listen to, compensate, and elevate those who have the embodied knowledge to create them.

i hope, you start to live a life that is more in accordance with your intentions and led less by perceptions, i hope you’re able to find the awareness to hold onto truth tightly so you can finally let go of their misconceptions, i hope you remember that home will always be you.

May everything that made you feel empty in 2022 be replaced with things that fill you up in 2023—and may you have the courage to say “no” to what drains you and “yes” to those things that fill you up.
