idgaf i loved the chainsaw man ending. it was the only way everyone could achieve any semblance of happiness i wish they’d explained the exact mechanics of the universe reset and why it was different from when other devils were eaten but it’s fine fujimoto was done lol

@WitheredCircle i don’t know how to verbalize it but i felt exactly the same way. i wasn’t allowed to play them for myself, so i got all my info secondhand from classmates and had to imagine the details… i kinda miss when i was terrified of the series conceptually

I have a lot of fond memories of my exposure to FNAF. I remember my neighbor telling me about Funtime Foxy back in 2016 and how he jumpscared you on Night 3 of SL. FNAF used to have this ethereal, uncanny feel back when we were kids that I don't think we'll ever have again.

@mildsurf @TAHK0 OH AND THE SOUNDTRACK. every game up until ACNH has a legendary absolutely perfect soundtrack imo, but ACNH’s hourly themes are SOOO ASS and repetitive. it got to a point when i played that i’d just turn the sound off. not a good look for an AC game

@mildsurf @TAHK0 the dialogue is also significantly more repetitive, fluffier, less witty and sharp… (ACNL started the series on that path, but IMO the writing was still far closer to the old games whereas ACNH takes it way too far)

original animal crossing is such a different game than where animal crossing is now and I hope it comes to NSO one day so I can see the modern fanbase experience it for the first time

@KeijiDX7 i feel like a mother anime is a when, not an if obviously the series is done forever, but itoi seems very comfortable with revisiting it in different mediums. it just has to be a perfect 10/10 adaptation with no fumbles so it may take a long while
