@SooshiYEP Best thing OW could copy from Rivals next would be a PvE mode with talents and pretty decent replay value for a while. At least while MR continues working on a more polished version. Competition is better, after all.

@SooshiYEP Awful take. I know a fair number of people, myself included, who are still mad about that terrible broken promise, still would have loved to see PvE delivered, and have mostly left the game as a result of the downhill slide OW took since then.

@ABurningtoaster @N0tRaven_ Yeah as someone else pointed out, your take is pretty far from obvious. Doomfist was a master martial artist from a young age, is cybernetically enhanced, and was a talon mercenary fighting in war zones for years. Definitely a defensive tactician though. Has never 1v3d OW before.

@bdwithey13 @N0tRaven_ I'm not. I'm stating the obvious. Doom isn't a fighter. Going into a 1v1 doom has to play defensive and learn the pattern of attack. Sneaking up and not giving him a chance will.

@Em1liath Hard agree - the writing feel forced, like they are pushing for some doomfist payoff down the line. Maybe a “from the shadows” or “uneasy team up with Overwatch” type thing. I didn’t much like it cause the fight flipped from doom holding back to insta-losing in .5 seconds.

I reallllyyy wanted to love the cinematic but it didn’t hit for me
I think vendetta is a super cool design, but her story just doesn’t seem that interesting compared to the current lore in place. Doomfist has an ideology (however flawed it is) and has this reputation for being insanely strong. He loses the fight in two seconds & is now being replaced with someone who seemingly only wants her family’s legacy back? Idk it’s just not itching my brain the way the others did

@N0tRaven_ Doom is a tactition not a fighter. He beat Tracer and Genji by exploiting weaknesses he could see. With Winston he couldn't best him because Winston is that much stronger and is a fighter in this case. Even with Ven he doesn't see her, he can't calculate her pattern.

Nothing is more fantasy football than Colby Parkinson being the fantasy TE4 in Weeks 10-15, gets a matchup vs. a defense that has struggled against the position, has no Davante Adams to compete with in the red zone … and completely busts

@AndyHolloway Great football game, super annoying fo most auxiliary fantasy options. #1 kicker on the year with like 2 points, the TE option everyone and their brother ranked at 5 on the week had 21 yards. I guess good if you had Nacua or JSN or still somehow believed in K9 :/
