@Google I am curious as to why does Google Scholar not have an API? I am part of a team working on a review paper and we need to save search results from Google Scholar in an automated fashion but this is just not possible. Will academics see a Scholar API anytime soon?

@BASEsearch the "export records" button ">>" at the bottom of the search results page is not working for me. Nothing happens when I click it. I have tried this with Firefox and Chrome browsers on an Ubuntu machine. Can you help me out?

Writing a good paper intro is difficult. I mostly recommend a 4-paragraph intro: 1) Motivation: Task description / why is it important? 2) Challenge: Why is problem so difficult? 3) Trends: How does SotA approach it? What's missing? 4) Method: How do you solve it? Contributions!
