@DecolonialMarx Doesn’t sound much more overpriced than a lot restaurant food. Looking at the picture it looks pretty damn good too, keep it up

@beebis005 2.75 oz of masa and 2.75 oz of pork so they’re fat but pork shoulder is 1.80 a pound prior to gas shortages, so tamales cost .30 cents to .75 depending on accompaniments. So at 3.30 a tamale and making tamales about 15-20/hr it’s not a bad return

I watched everything raise in price again yesterday. Please consider helping our efforts to feed our neighbors and get a food trailer running that we could even travel to YOU and feed YOUR community $ZitkatosTinCan on CA or @zitkato on ven or check the chuffed. I’ll be making

I'm no expert in global shipping but as soon as you see a major television network mention the Strait of Magellan you should probably sell everything

And sure, if you have evidence someone is an actual informant or FBI or CIA agent then do what you have to do. But if your entire argument against someone is just calling them a fed, you’re either choosing to make an ineffective argument or you’re just wrong.

Can you combat this by comparing these attitudes towards those of “feds”? Sure, but that’s kind of beating around the bush, it’s better to attack those ideas at the roots, which is labor aristocracy and settlerism.

Not only is it dangerous to the people accused of being “feds” but it’s dangerous to any serious org to have an attitude that someone needs to literally be employed by a PD or a federal agency to be harmful to movement.
nobody from nowhere@ctizzie

100%, but also the only correct people to casually call "feds" are people you can present substantive evidence against. all this cavalier copjacketing is just, again, a demonstration of the unseriousness - even open antagonism - of the dinosaur liberal "left" and opportunist orgs

@BolshevikBeyond “Over 99% of Americans support imperialism, but some reason [insert actual communist] always targets DSA, labor aristocrat unions, and radlib charity drives for supporting imperialism”

@bidetmarxman @Rocko64_ Bc even if they don’t admit it they love the US, they can’t imagine why China would have no desire to be the US and want to be something much better instead. They think the US is already the best thing there is

@guerrillablvk @DecolonialMarx Exactly, doesn’t matter if you “mean well” or if you’re “showing solidarity.” If you’re not materially improving things for people on the ground it’d be more helpful if you stayed home. Effect matters, intentions don’t.

@probablykaffe Obv the masses are the makers of history, but settlers take this to mean you have to make your ideology and organization palatable to the median USian or else you’re being “sectarian”. End result is “anti-imperialists” doing recruiting for DoD and Lockheed

@probablykaffe Like with most issues in the U.S., the idea that we need a “mass movement” to do anything is misdirection, especially if that “mass movement” is just walking around holding signs

A. USians have never been as alienated from internationalism as now, WW2 + Decol + "Civil Rights" + Empire *had to* operate in international discourse to stay relevant against the "2W" B. USians have accepted the demonization of Iran, they'll accept outcome despite moral protest
Josh@WxPolitics15

I honestly can’t answer the question of why there is no mass anti-war movement in the present moment in the United States. The structural reason is perhaps that Americans would need to face material consequences from a war to protest it
