it is awful terrible absolutely a tragedy and perhaps totally necessary for this moment in human history that we spend so much time looking at screens

weirdly, if you make an intellectual project of seeing clearly or make rational clarity a need, you can end up stagnating because there's a low hum of self-distrust. this is why let go is evergreen advice, and supports a healthy relationship between analysis and action

the difficulty with watching your own experience with curiosity is that it can be easy to get caught up in it and lose awareness. awareness practices like meditation are useful for this reason. the inner knowing / intuition is awareness seeing clearly

lots of wisdom is available in simply watching your own experience with curiosity

the putting the reader/viewer down thing that a lot of influencing people do is a major reason I dislike the scroll. it actively disgusts me, in fact.
