Today, we were joined by “Shake, Rattle and Roll” to help us celebrate the wonderful, diverse music of the world. Year 4 enjoyed singing along to a rousing Irish folk song “The Rattlin’ Bog”

Y6 residential. The children enjoyed canoeing and kayaking this morning.

Year 5 produced some amazing space pictures. They used watercolours to create planets and had to consider the composition of their final picture, showing an understanding of foreground, middle ground and background. Well done year 5! 🪐

Year 5 are on the bus and on their way back to school after a fantastic day in Cambridge.

Year 5 are spending the day at the zoology museum and the Scott polar museum. Lots of fascinating things to see.

Tiger made a life-size sarcophagus as his homework project! We were blown away by the size and all the intricately hand-drawn hieroglyphs!

Hard at work making prickles out of sweet chestnut for a hedgehog! Steve (the hedgehog) should prove a great habitat for the insects in our garden.

Year 4 have been designing pharaoh headdresses that demonstrate wealth and power. Super work!

Our fabulous year 6 swimming team won the gala this afternoon at SVC. So proud of you all. Teamwork made the dream work 🤗.

Year 6 have designed and made their own pencil cases. They have demonstrated great creativity and excellent sewing skills. Well done year 6. ✏️

Look at all of these amazing cakes and biscuits made by children and staff at The Bellbird! The Nightingales were inspired to raise money to sponsor an elephant with the WWF after reading the poignant poem "Elephant Tusks" by Zaro Weil.

Year 6 have just left Claythorpe Court. Their ETA is 3.50pm. Please can Year 6 parents/carers be at school to collect their children at this time. Goodbye PGL, thank you for the adventures!
