@DrGW0 I've found that expressing concern about SSRIs and/or CBT gets you put in a new-age vaccine-denier box. It's been so hard to get psychiatrist to understand that I can both think that SSRIs might be evidenced in general and deleterious for me.

"Psyc-induced brain injury" I have tried to explain to a psychiatrist iatrogenic harm from the medication prescribed and how its worsened my quality of life and increased suicidal thoughts. It's an impossible and nasty situation to be in.

It's not uncommon for autistic people to be accused of emotional manipulation. Autistic social communication generally lacks the unspoken emotional messages that neurotypical people rely on. So neurotypical people imagine them. They "read into" autistic communication emotional meanings that are not intended. I have experienced this many, many times. It leads to serious misunderstandings and enormous distress on both sides. If you perceive an autistic person as emotionally manipulative, you are not hearing what they are actually saying.
