Aerial video of current construction n Magic Kingdom. A retaining wall is rising along Frontierland for for Piston Peak National Park. Site preparation also in progress for Villains land. The few trees remaining at center of the site are being transplanted.

@ChilcoteTy18245 Ah! Utilidors are mostly under the original 1971 buildings, as a ring. Much of Fantasyland is over the Cast Cafeteria and Wardrobe. All of the Main Street shops/steets are over Utilidor. There's a short spur to Pecos Bill's. Shortcut Utilidor between castle and Main Street.

@bioreconstruct I wonder how close the Utilidor Tunnels are to this area. Could the retaining walls be part of an expansion of the system allowing underground service to the new area?

At center of this aerial photo is the work site for Piston Peak National Park. A retaining wall is in development from Big Thunder Mountain Railroad to Liberty Square. Bottom right is site preparation for Villains Land.

I've got a ticket to ride. Waymo is currently invitation only in Orlando. I've been on a wait list.

Seems likely the retaining wall holds Piston Peak up, and a cascading mountain stream also hides (is supported by) the wall.
