Fallen out of love with cricket. Never felt this indifferent before a world cup final.

@yashpanditrao It feels like the massive capital infusion uber-like, which could be broken by a more rapido-like indian jugaad innovation. Doesn’t it?

We kept hearing the same thing about quick commerce: “They’re killing it.” “10-minute delivery has won.” “Blinkit is profitable now right?” So instead of debating takes, @karansehgal47 and I wrote the report. Quick Commerce in India: A Forensic Research Report

@himganj153 Yeap. And as long as we keep this short sighted view sport can’t really go global.

@joybhattacharj So true. Sportsmanship and gamesmanship needs to be promoted by the sport.

If cricket wants to take its place as a genuinely global sport, it must stop this farcical business of ensuring India and Pakistan are always in the same group. All are aware that it is a money spinner for the broadcasters, and that all the member countries approve & benefit, but it risks not being taken seriously in comparison to other global sports. If you did this with Argentina Brazil in football or even USA France in basketball, there would be an uproar. Take the hit once, and you'll discover that cricket is bigger than just one rivalry, which currently is not even close to being the most riveting rivalry in the sport. And the sport will gain so much more credibility as a truly Olympic sport.

@elonmusk Looking just per capita. Maybe not right. If industry is huge, it’s just too many assholes. Don’t per capita it.

@kmr_dilip If a research paper mentions how a commonly used ingredient of their sauce results into increase in cholesterol. This should be read, annotated and fed into well trained LLMs with 0 hallucinations which could then solve for multi lingual solutions for all of India.

@kmr_dilip For public good. We need to ease how an average user understands science behind their health. This starts from making research studies easier to consume and more reflection to their dietary and fitness behaviours. For eg:

Every day I see posts about why people want to leave India. India isn’t perfect, but no country is. I think before self driving cars or AI chips, we first need to improve quality of life here. Imagine if more of us built tools for public good in health & climate that make daily life better. What’s one problem you face daily that you wish had a simple solution? At Rainmatter/Zerodha we will back and build this together.
