🇷🇸 UEFA has fined Serbian football club FK Crvena Zvezda €40,000 over a large tifo displayed by fans during a Europa League match against LOSC Lille. The tifo featured an Orthodox icon of Jesus Christ and a Serbian-language banner reading, “May our faith lead you to victory.” UEFA imposed a total fine of €95,500 on the club, with €40,000 specifically for the banner, citing it as “displaying a message deemed inappropriate for a sporting event” and “undermining the reputation and integrity of football and UEFA.”

@visegrad24 Serbs were holding that image and the cross when they slaughtered Croatians, Bosnians, and Albanians in Kosovo. They use Christianity as a mask, and to appeal to the ignorant Westerners.

NEW: San Francisco judge Linda Colfax has released a man who fatally assaulted an 84-year-old because the prison sentence would have a "poor impact" on him. 25-year-old Antoine Watson was granted probation just two months after he was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and assault. Watson violently assaulted Vicha Ratanapakdee in 2021, which resulted in his death just two days later. He was acquitted of first-and second-degree murder charges and instead convicted of involuntary manslaughter. Colfax says Watson being in prison would have a "poor impact" on him and didn't think he should be there because he "expressed remorse," according to the SF Chronicle. Colfax is accused of hiding details from the jury in an apparent effort to help Watson escape prison time. Infuriating and evil.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent
By publishing this explicitly false story, the @FT has officially become tabloid trash for market participants. Despite my direct, on-the-record denial of ever having advocated, explored, or espoused the idea that Chancellor-Bank of England statute serving as a prototype for a Treasury-Federal Reserve relationship, FT journalists manufactured a story with the headline, “Scott Bessent praised Bank of England as model for tighter oversight of the Federal Reserve.” These pathetic journalists have clearly fabricated a story to give the impression that both I and the Trump Administration are setting “about restructuring the relationship… at a time when President Donald Trump has launched an unprecedented assault on the world’s most important central bank.” Their mendacious assertion is based on vague statements from unnamed “financial industry executives familiar with the matter.” In short, FT has literally manufactured an entirely fake policy position for me and the Administration. Other than furthering a maliciously false narrative of dysfunction and divisiveness, it baffles the mind as to why they would shred their already diminished journalistic credibility. Over the past 10 years, I have written more than 20,000 words opining on the Federal Reserve decisions, personnel, structure, and modifications. Nowhere have I ever mentioned this ridiculous notion. The Governor’s letters to the Chancellor have proven to be a useless and perfunctory device. There is much to be said about the storied Bank of England, but any recreation of its operating framework on this side of the Atlantic has never been contemplated. The shameful journalists and editors at the FT are shocking in their meretriciousness, lack of standards, and general intellectual libertinism. It is the worst tradition of Fleet Street to manufacture news rather than report on it. They have brought irredeemable shame to their parent organization, Nikkei Inc., with whom I had previously held excellent relations. In 2025, I laid out a comprehensive 6,000+ word review of each and every policy reform that I believe should be adopted by the Federal Reserve. Because Senate Democrats didn’t end up accepting the Republican offer on DHS funding & negotiations fell apart yesterday, Dems will get *zero* of the ICE reforms they had been demanding, including ones that GOP had already agreed to, like showing ID, increased Congressional oversight, agreements to not hit sensitive locations, etc. These reforms were the reason Dems started the shutdown in the first place, and now instead of getting a few concessions on their demand list, they get none. The only thing they secured was no funding for CBP & ICE, which are largely already funded via the OBBB, and Republicans will seek to fund them even further without Dem votes in reconciliation instead. As for the Dem’s demand list on ICE reforms? “That ship has sailed,” Sen. Majority Leader John Thune said this morning. “They kissed that opportunity goodbye by failing to provide funding for those agencies.”

We’re going to be hearing a lot about the fake Ukraine “whistleblower” Eric Ciaramella in the coming days when the IG Atkinson transcript is released. So with that in mind, this is a good time to remember that @FOOL_NELSON was the one who figured out who this guy really was, along with many other things he figured out (all documented for posterity in my book).

The great sin of Donald Trump is that in his second term he rejected all of the "experts" and brought in outsiders to fix the havoc and damage wreaked by the "experts." And golly gee do the "experts" hate it. At this point we have a cadre of failed "experts" doing everything they can to sabotage the vitally necessary reform of their sins. Pretty much everything happening in American politics today can be understood through this prism.

1.) There is no human right for men to enter women's changing rooms, domestic violence shelters, or prisons. 2.) All attempts to treat the world's most popular and beloved author as a moral pariah will fail to harm her and will harm the cause supported by those attempting to harm her.

important reminder: if you are still engaging with the hp franchise you are hurting trans people. separate the art from the artist does not apply when the artist does this. putting nostalgia above human rights is a display of weak character. 🏳️‍⚧️
