It covered a lot of subjects. My son, my mother, my father, my relationship to the fever dream that’s been my life since 18, the devastation of the illness, the feeling of running out of time, the fear of being forgotten. I think it would have buttoned up the events leading up to that moment honestly and concisely. Though, I would have sincerely regretted not getting the chance to grow beyond my 20s in my craft because ideally my best work is still ahead of me.

I could have lost the letter to god trilogy and LOTS draft to fit charades, lessons, Alice, and AOTD. But I don’t think that would have been right. It’s hard to say :) what would you guys have done?

there’s loads of reasons but one of them, for example, is usually so I don’t have to make a 37495858 disc vinyl that costs a zillion dollars, bc I already make long-ish albums as it is! big groans in the room when your “standard” LP is a double disc, imagine handing in one longer than that haha.

You can thank anthony li for ‘life of the spider.’ It was a poem at first. (They usually are). I wasn’t gonna record it / compose it, much less put it out, and he *would not rest* until I reconsidered. Like he made it a POINT.
