@Turf_Wizard @hannahbggg @JDavis0451 @justapedn_cob Well aware of (and follow) the recommended best practice. A world class facility insisted on a different practice. Probably for highly specific reasons, but the turf was perfect and they are extremely qualified. It’s part of this conversation. And again, it’s not my take.

@Turf_Wizard @hannahbggg @JDavis0451 @justapedn_cob Very professional response. It’s not even my take, guy. I’m sure the guy at Manchester Lane is a hack who could learn a lot from the turf wizard.

@blza @hannahbggg @JDavis0451 @justapedn_cob If you think the scattered pattern is better, stay off the grass range and use a mat. You are wrong. Take it from someone who knows a thing or two about growing grass.

@hannahbggg @JDavis0451 @justapedn_cob I had a fitting at Titleist Manchester Lane a couple years ago. They were very specific in asking me to spread divots and even spoke up when my divots were getting a little too close to each other.

@JDavis0451 @justapedn_cob “All tee boxes” definitely not true. It depends on the type of grass and it’s very rare that someone will tell you to do scattered in that case instead of lines. And this process helps with divot depth as well 👍
