I live the way I live, I eat the things I eat and I’ll die the way I die.

I’m trying to think of the elements of AFL players being able to break a tag. But I need some of your opinions. I think there’s 4 elements, and you need any combination of 3 of them to do it effectively. 1: running power. The ability to outwork your direct opponent, either with raw speed or gruelling long distances. 2: adaptability. The ability to move to, and be effective in, multiple positions to stretch the capability of your opponent. 3: system. Structures, sets, tactics that pull apart your oppositions ability to defend you 1v1, work around stoppage etc, that pulls structures out of position and manipulates the tag to open up opportunities for your teammates. 4: experience. Either players around you, figures at the club or you own personal experience of different tips and tricks that can help you create space from a tagger. I think if you have any 3 of those 4 you’re in a pretty good spot, and any less you might be in a bit of trouble. Very rough idea, but thought it might be an interesting discussion to crowd source some answers or thoughts. #AFL

Absolutely pathetic Cricket from Bangladesh #BANvsPAK

@shigeyuki696 I thought it's a custom in Japan to do things in public area? Drunk yes..Pray No? Double standard much?

Ricky Ponting's full comment on Jamie Smith's dismissal: “Dopey, dopey, dopey. There's another one of those moments. Another one of those times where they don’t need it, they didn’t need to do that. "The batting was looking easy for him. A new ball on this wicket, the best time in the game to bat and you just go and throw it away. "Right off the toe end of the bat, straight up into the air, easy catch for Cummins. It was good. But not for long enough." #Ashes

Collingwood refused to travel for Opening Round after playing in the first two years on the road against GWS. And the Pies get their wish facing St Kilda… a game at the MCG against a Marvel tenant, without giving up a ‘home’ game.

This is *exactly* what you want to see when you board a plane, I’ll tell you that.

Turns out football is harder when you don’t know the other teams plays
